GENERAL

+ What can I anticipate spending on a project?

Taking the guesswork out of the design process, no matter if you’re focused on furniture + fixtures or overhauling a whole property, is priceless. A cohesive space that you love that comes together with fewer wasted resources? Yes please.

Ultimately, budgets are tailored to your specific space and the scope of work you’re interested in undertaking. The prices we’re sharing below are overall project budgets - not solely our fees:

Full scale projects (ones that require everything from moving walls, to looking at exterior updates or landscaping...and beyond) require a minimum $50,000 budget.

For projects that don’t require any renovations or remodelling, and focus on furniture, decor, and branding, expect to spend a minimum $30,000 (with pricing that scales depending on the size of your space and the scope of work).

+ I don’t know what the best service for me is. How do I find out?

Not a problem, we’ve got your back in sorting it out, and we’re happy to help. Fill out the form on our contact page and based on what you share, we will steer you in the right direction.

+ Do you work internationally as well?

While we’re proud to call Vancouver, BC, Canada home, we love working internationally and have systems, processes and partnerships in place to deliver the same great experience for our clients living abroad.

Be sure to indicate where you live on your inquiry form so we can make sure we can deliver the full We The Nomads experience in your community.

Interior Design

+ How long does a full-scale interior design project take?

The excitement of welcoming people into a refreshed home is so real. And, to ensure the quality and cohesiveness of what we create isn’t compromised by tight timelines, accommodating a minimum 6 months for a full-scale project is necessary.

Remember: as scope and complexity scale, so does the time required to complete something...so time scaling to one year or more is completely possible.

While we’ll work together to establish a timeline that works for your hosting goals, we’ll be realistic with what’s possible and won’t rush a good thing - and a feeling of coming home is definitely worth waiting for.

+ I don’t know what my property actually needs. How do I find out?

The short answer: yes.

Not a problem, we’ve got your back in sorting it out, and we’re happy to help. Fill out the form on our contact page and based on what you share, we will help land you with an idea of if, where, or how we can be of help.

+ Do I have to be hands on? I don’t have much experience.

We hear you - the project management of a revived space can feel like a foreign realm. Luckily, being fully immersed in every detail of a project is our favourite thing.

Leave it to us - we can take the entire process off your hands and you can simply walk into your newly refreshed property, ready to welcome guests in.

Turnkey services

+ Do you offer turnkey services?

Yes, we sure do. Making sure you can open the door for the first time, to your first guests—trusting everything they’ll need (and some things they may not know they want) is perfectly in place, and a part of the bigger story—matters to us - big time.

Turnkey is one of our favourite ways to support busy property owners who are ready to create meaningful, end to end guest experiences for the people that stay at their property. So, yes, we offer turnkey. And we love it.

furniture packages

+ Can you help with a short-term property I don’t own?

The short answer: yes.

The detailed answer: Our custom furniture packages are perfect for temporary accommodations or short-term rentals. There’s always a way to put decor together in a way that reflects you - no matter how long you’ll be in a space.

To make it even easier for you, we offer turnkey services (see the previous section). If you’re out of town or too busy to bring it all together, we set the entire space up. Meaning all you have to do is walk into your new life, and your new home.

+ Why do you suggest furniture packages for short-term rental properties?

In our eyes, it’s about quality and sustainable choices. Yes, Ikea furniture works. And, high volume traffic will wear it down faster than you can replace it. Investing in quality goods means each piece lasting longer, less waste in our landfills, fewer trips to the big blue store, and your space looking stunning for much longer. Another perk? Quality furniture can be refinished.

+ How long will it take for furniture I order to arrive?

Because of the sometimes-custom nature of the products we select, furniture can take 4 - 16 weeks to be delivered.

And, if you’ve got specific timelines you’re working with, we’ll do everything we can to suggest products whose lead time supports your schedule.
